Wind tunnel tests of Electra

[edit]

The article mentions the NASA Langley Research Center’s 19-ft Pressure Tunnel. However, the tests were actually conducted in what is the Transonic Dynamics Tunnel (TDT). The former 19-ft Pressure Tunnel was modified to become the TDT and is still today the Nation’s and a world-unique “Flutter Tunnel”. We specialize in aeroelastic and dynamic loads testing of aircraft, rotorcraft, spacecraft, and launch vehicles and is a busy tunnel today testing the Dragonfly octocopter that will fly in the atmosphere of Saturn’s moon Titan. 70.160.101.64 (talk) 18:49, 26 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
