Someone, perhaps a 'bot, sent me a message that mumbled and grumbled about creating self serving entries. I may or may not have a horse in the Linux Event game, but it is to my eye, Linux Events are clearly something appropriate to Wikipedia. I note the reference to Wikimania in the banner ad of this page as I edit it.
