Bias

[edit]

Obviously someone has some sort of vendetta against 'extends'. I'm not really sure why, but it has absolutely no place on Wikipedia. You make an outlandish claim about implementation inheritance being extremly unpopular, then use as a refrence some guy's opinion. While he's entitled to it, it does not make it the opinion of the majority. Find some official documentation saying it's unpopular, and you're more than welcome to come in and use that as evidence, but until then, try to keep it civil and on the level, alright? OOP, and all the subsets of OOP, are philosophical, and there will be disagreements, but again, Wikipedia is not the place to espouse your views. dimo414 (talk) 00:28, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. It might be better to remove references to popularity or better bring up the object-oriented principal "Favor composition over inheritance." Hosick (talk) 10:37, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
