[edit]

Hi Thanks for ready editorial help. This page 'Host-Pathogen Interface' is proposed to fit category: 'Biological Interactions'. It is also proposed to be linked as 'See Also' to other Wikipedia pages like: "Virulence", "Virulence factor", "Host-pathogen interactions", "Inter-Kingdom interactions","Infectious disease", etc. to begin with. Also this page can have 'external links' to journals and websites on 'Structural biology' , Cellular and molecular Micobiology, and Invasion and Infection mechanisms.

Kindly also check, first two sentences on this page 'Host-Pathogen Interface' added/edited in context to the beginner's interest.

Thanks, once again! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rakeshyashroy (talkcontribs) 01:33, 30 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Rakeshyashroy. I think this page is written much better than your previous contributions, though you still have quite a ways to go. Perhaps most importantly (as Doc James has pointed out on your user talk page), articles should be based on citations to secondary sources. Papers that directly report experimental data should be used as little as possible. The "See also" and "External links" sections are minor considerations compared to this.
Unfortunately, Wikipedia is written in a very different style from academic language, and this takes a while to get used to. For example, any term that is not explained in the text should be linked when it is first used, and you should reduce the number of links that you need as much as possible. If you'd like to see some examples, the best articles on Wikipedia are listed at WP:FA.
Also, if you're looking for more articles to edit, why don't you try expanding Host-pathogen interactions? The first paragraph is already a good introduction, but the rest of it is very brief and could probably include much more information, including a few sentences describing the host-pathogen interface.
