Im first going to add the hadith itself, and first later going to add the views. --Striver 22:56, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
This and this are two islamophobic articles that are no good for sourcing, but can be useful for research. --Striver 23:25, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
Wrong information
[edit]It is mentioned that Hazrat Abu Bakr (May ALLAH be pleased with him )allowed the Holy Prophet's(peace be upon him) family to use general alms, which is contradictory to the actual Islamic and historical sources so I would immediately like to remove this wrong information and insert the fact that the family of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) used khams and ghanimah and never used zakah according to the Quranic command .
All the sects of Muslims believe in this and this inaccurate information is very offensive for the slaves (MUSLIMS) of the Holy Prophet's (peace be upon him) family(PBUT) and Hazrat Abu Bakar (May ALLAH be pleased with him ) to read this as it is against the higher status of both , lastly this type of mistake brings the reputation and claims of Wikipedia to earth .
I hope no sensible person will object my desire . Army Burnhall (talk) 04:13, 6 March 2025 (UTC)
- And what are your "actual Ismalic and historical sources?" Albertatiran (talk) 05:46, 6 March 2025 (UTC)
- The most authentic books of Islamic history AS SAHI AL BUKHARI and AL SAHI AL MUSLIM
- Secondly there is no authentic source or view that suggest what's written here . It is against the glory held by AHL UL BAYT (A>S) to use zakat and saying that they did it (Nauzubillah) is a huge sin . They were never forced to use it and this is the view of both Shias and Sunnis .
- I can even send you the links of the actual sources that state that the statement in the article is false . Army Burnhall (talk) 07:49, 6 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hadith collections (including those two) are considered primary sources on Wikipedia. Primary sources are not regarded as reliable around here. You can see all this (and more) on MOS:ISLAM, WP:PRIMARY, and other related pages. Albertatiran (talk) 08:12, 6 March 2025 (UTC)
