Equipment list

[edit]

Seeing as how Frontex has started gaining their own equipment in the last years and the probability that this will increase a lot more in the future I added a section listing the equipment. But I do not know what all to add on there, should things like ships leased be added? What about ships used by Frontex but still possessed by foreign coast guards? For sure the Heron 1 and the Land rover Discoveries should be added, but the Diamonds and the Beechcraft could also fall under leased and as such not owned by Frontex. Let me know what you think.

European Border and Coast Guard AgencyFrontex – Clearly the common and recognizable name. You can compare the Google News results from the last month.[1][2] It also suits WP:CONCISE. (t · c) buidhe 09:05, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Leggeri resignation already effective?

[edit]

Unless I'm missing something, "who was Director of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex) from 2015 to 2022" in Fabrice Leggeri's entry would mean his resignation is already effective and the ED position should be marked vacant. Equipment list lacking the Raptor

[edit]

While waiting on the Montenegro-Albania border, I spotted multiple Frontex Raptors. These trucks also appear in official social media posts of Frontex themselves yet are not in the equipment list and thus are lacking in the article. Can someone change that please? It is questionable why that section exists at all but given that it does, we need an official source that says so. Your observation (nor mine) is not acceptable, see our WP:no original research policy. 𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 23:46, 10 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I literally linked multiple social media posts and reports by frontex or frontex officials. 94.109.214.18 (talk) 18:07, 19 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
