Undo big expansion with bogus references

[edit]

It looks like I made some mistakes in the ISBN for one of the references in

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Fractional_programming&oldid=prev&diff=1317651487#mw-diffpage-visualdiff-cite_note-2 which was undone by @David_Eppstein.

But "Handbook of Global Optimization" is real and a good book: https://openlibrary.org/works/OL25690645W/Handbook_of_Global_Optimization

An alternative reference might be Schaible’s 2004 survey: https://repub.eur.nl/pub/1610/ERS%202004%20074%20LIS.pdf Thomasda (talk) 08:54, 22 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Can you perhaps answer whether all of the wording in your addition was yours alone, or whether you used an LLM such as ChatGP to help write it? Because the bogus references are frequently associated with LLM writing. —David Eppstein (talk) 17:43, 22 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
