Finiteness of verbs

Is the finiteness of a verb a concept which is only related to this article by the choice of the term finite? Kevincook13 (talk) 14:44, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

My understanding is that the finiteness of verbs relates to it being actually finite, in that it is bounded by grammatical features such as tense, person, and number, allowing it to serve as the main verb of an independent clause. BD2412 T 03:11, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
