[edit]Although the argument is complex, the article is well written and concise. I have just a minor suggestion. The following sentence:
"The Dirichlet boundary conditions on immersed closed interfaces are imposed weakly by the introduction of the distributed Lagrange multiplier which enforces the boundary condition over the whole overlapping region"
is inserted in the first part but it seems to me too technical to stay there. I suggest it is moved to the head of the Dirichlet BC section where i believe it fits better. Nice work! Pertio00 (talk) 13:46, 11 July 2025 (UTC)

[edit]I think the strong point of this article is its "technical crescendo" structure. The beginning is accessible to readers somewhat familiar with the topic while in the following more technical details are provided. Images and the animation are a big plus. Great work. [edit]The article provides a well-structured overview of the fictitious domain method as a numerical technique. It is informative and effectively illustrated with interactive images. I would recommend to expand the reference list by including additional sources to strengthen the article. EcoINV-PPP (talk) 14:15, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
