Sources

[edit]

@Cunard @Guinness323 @Salem Ander does anyone see any additional sources for this game? BOZ (talk) 09:35, 17 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

So far I found a couple of brief mentions (here and here) with basic publishing details, this marginally reliable Reich der Spiele review, an section of this archived review (search "Monopoly Würfelspiel" on the page) featured in the reliable Spielbox, and a game description from Spellenlab (a games archive that I consider reliable), but nothing that establishes notability very well. OK thanks, that may be a start at something. BOZ (talk) 09:05, 18 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Merge would not be appropriate

[edit]

@BOZ: Merging this article would probably not be appropriate because a lot of its material is unreferenced, and I forgot to mention that the only source it cited (primary source) is a permanent dead link. (I checked the Internet Archive for saved versions, but they all looked like this. [1]) I'm a bit skeptical about redirection to Monopoly_(game)#Spin-offs because the mention of the game there cites About.com (known today as Dotdash Meredith). According to the Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources list, said source is a situational source, meaning its usage in context should be considered. I'm not sure about its reliability in the context of board games, which should probably be decided by the people over at Wikipedia:WikiProject Board and table games. Basically, I still favor this article's deletion. 1isall (talk/contribs) 15:25, 23 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

It could also simply be redirected if none of the text in the article is useable. BOZ (talk) 15:31, 23 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
That's basically what I'm saying: this whole article's text is useless. Also, did you not read what I said about redirecting? 1isall (talk/contribs) 15:37, 23 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
What I meant is that did you read the text explaining why I'm skeptical about this article being redirected? 1isall (talk/contribs) 16:22, 23 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
But honestly, I think we should get more opinions about the fate of this article. I'm probably going to take it to AFD to do so. 1isall (talk/contribs) 16:25, 23 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
