[edit]Is this anon edit entirely right? Berne apparently sets the minimum at life+50, but I didn't think most countries hewed to just the minimum - the US and EU don't seem to, for example. --Gwern (contribs) 19:57 4 January 2008 (GMT)

Declaration of Conflict of Interest
[edit]Hello,
I am a volunteer at Distributed Proofreaders and I've made some edits to the infobox and the milestones table. After realising that this may be a COI (most of the edits were done a while back), I've written this just to let others know of the COI. I have added more information to the infobox, and I've added more books to the milestones table. I did not touch anything else on the article. Please review my edits, and if you see anything that I have done wrong, please let me know.
Thank you.

DPF as a section within the page?
[edit]Instead of trying to establish a separate page for the foundation, consider making the current one paragraph description the destination for the various links labeled "Distributed Proofreaders Foundation", for simplicity's sake. — RossO (talk) 03:46, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
- @RossO I agree! Makes more sense to cover the two closely related entities in one article. Tagging @Tangledhelix for visibility. Dreamyshade (talk) 02:27, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
- I assume I was tagged due to editing this page a number of times. Note that I've added a statement of potential COI, so scroll down to read that.
- IMHO, there's not much to be written about the Foundation itself. My personal opinion is that @RossO's suggestion is sensible. A good place to find information about DPF to create that section would be DPFoundation:Main - DPWiki. Tangledhelix (talk) 21:19, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
Declaration of potential COI
[edit]I am a volunteer at Distributed Proofreaders (DP) and, at the time of writing this, I also sit on the Board of the Distributed Proofreaders Foundation (DPF). DPF does not manage the operations of DP (a General Manager is tasked with that). Tangledhelix (talk) 21:17, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
