Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedy deleted as being about a subject that was invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally and for lack of asserted importance, because... there is certainly a well-known notion of "operating regime". A medicine should only be taken in certain conditions; a car is only safe when driven at appropriate speeds and in reasonable whether; etc. When a system is designed, it is designed to work in certain conditions.
Other wikipedia articles have previously cited "design envelope". Someone should make the article. It may have other names that I haven't thought of. I've heard of "operating regime", or "operation regime". If the relevant article exists in wikipedia under a different name, it should be cross-referenced under design envelope and oprating regime.
