Improving the Denver reuse wiki

[edit]

I have more content to add but I am not familiar with the wiki system. I need some help to make it better. Thanks Craigell (talk) 22:34, 31 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I have some interest in this topic. What help in particular do you need? Nolabob (talk) 22:46, 31 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It is really important that this information is accessible. Wikipedia is a perfect place especially with all the references. I have all the content since I was the manager for this project. What I need is help making a good wiki article. I can cut a paste the content into the wiki page. And I have many references. Would you be interested in looking at my new posts and pass your magic wiki hand over it? I’ll need to take some time adding material. I can let you know when I have added new content. Thanks Craigell (talk) 23:30, 31 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I will do so. I suggest that, fairly soon, you support each paragraph with suitable references. This would address one of the major concerns about this article in its current form. Also, consider what other Wikipedia articles should link to it, so that the article would no longer be an "orphan". Nolabob (talk) 12:03, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you sincerely. I have added more content after the heading Historical Justification. I added a reference but it is now listed a number 1. It should be number 4. The other three references should be 1,2,3 in order. They can appear anywhere in the first section but after the words, Denver direct potable water reuse demonstration project would probably be best. Your call. I tried to edit the references but had no luck. The references are quite comprehensive so cover large sections. Bill I thought I linked it to the Reclaimed Water page? The project is discussed briefly there. Craigell (talk) 12:41, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps it would be better to work on this article before publishing it. I read about the sandbox but couldn’t understand how to use it. Also is there a place where we can both access the developing article? Thanks for any help. Craigell (talk) 13:32, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Can I use the same reference multiple times in the article? Craigell (talk) 18:38, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm thinking we should work on this article off-line. If you click on my userpage, under "Tools", you'll see an option that says "email user". You can then email me, and we can then correspond off-line, to complete this project. Nolabob (talk) 19:39, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not finding the email user under tools. Craigell (talk) 20:00, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, Bob, i don't see any "email user" in the Tools drop down. thanks Craigell (talk) 20:12, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Try this link. Nolabob (talk) 23:59, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple issues tag

[edit]

I have volunteered to revise this article in accord with the concerns expressed in the multiple issues tag. Please be patient with me as this will likely take weeks, and I am doing so in a sandbox rather than directly on the article, as the revisions are substantial. So progress may not be apparent for weeks. Nolabob (talk) 13:00, 7 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I am collaborating with User:Craigell on this task. Nolabob (talk) 19:19, 10 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
