Treaty of Vienna 1515

[change source]

The Treaty of Vienna 1515 page is so short it has been merged here. Template Removed. -- Barliner  talk  21:52, 25 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Official language

[change source]

Neither the Czech constitution, nor another legal prescription states the official language of the Czech Republic. Even if public organisations use the Czech language, minorities have right to communication in their language, and using the Czech language is simply a result of the overwhelming percentage of ethnic Czechs. This is in contrast to other states, such as France, Slovakia or pre-war Czechoslovakia, which have their official language. --Zik (talk) 12:50, 30 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Move request

[change source]

This article should be moved to Czechia as it's the name that has been used everywhere for years (including the UN since 2016). Spectritus (talk) 15:22, 21 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

While I understand the idea to move the article, enwiki has not moved the page yet, see en:Talk:Czech Republic/FAQ. On the other hand, dewiki and some other projects followed the renaming and moved their pages. I've no strong opinion about that. It might be good to get a broader input for that on simple talk. -Barras talk 19:15, 28 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
As you said other Wikipedias have moved the page. Also, this Wikipedia doesn't depend on any other so I don't see why the overly strict English Wikipedia would prevent it. Spectritus (talk) 09:26, 29 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
I'd still say get broader consensus via simple talk for that move. -Barras talk 16:29, 31 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
