Improvements
[edit]My plan is to do some work on this article, but it could also use the expertise of editors like Doeze and NPguy. - Amigao (talk) 20:10, 14 December 2025 (UTC)
- @Amigao I might be able to help a bit, but unfortunately it seems rarely mentioned directly in sources. I would probably focus on how this probably only applies to US/USSR/potentially Russian/potentially future Chinese planning. My first thought for probably all other countries is they only consider countervalue attacks. Doeze (talk) 14:01, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
- I've found a couple of solid sources not already included, will use them myself if nobody else gets around to it:
- [1] "COUNTERFORCE IN CONTEMPORARY U.S. NUCLEAR STRATEGY" - May 2025, published by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
- [2] "The Counterforce Continuum and Tailored Targeting: A New Look at United States Nuclear Targeting Methods and Modern Deterrence" - September 2022, published by Air University Press DiodotusNicator (talk) 22:01, 30 December 2025 (UTC)
