Merging Wikipedia articles
[edit]Should this article perhaps be merged with the article on cluster expansion in the classical case Cluster expansion? As this is both the principle, right? NudelTraum (talk) 03:13, 24 September 2025 (UTC)
- Personally, I agree. My suggestion for a common article would be: start with the mathematical theory of the cluster expansion (which is "just" a way of rewriting the partition function of an abstract polymer model as a formal exponential series, plus the theory needed to show when this series converges), and include the content of both articles as applications.
- I haven't seriously contributed to Wikipedia in a while, so I am a bit rusty, but I can help out finding the right references if you want to give it a shot. Lucha (talk) 13:55, 3 November 2025 (UTC)
