As long as this is notable, add this page to Category:Virtual reality companies. 67.209.128.18 (talk) 11:54, 20 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now: Apple currently does not "specialize" in virtual reality, and the Vision Pro does not seem a popular sale. I don't think Apple would be a virtual reality company. Thanks, Myrealnamm (💬Let's talk · 📜My work) 23:04, 26 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Actually I disagree. On similar grounds, Meta does not "specialize" in virtual reality, and yet if we were to exclude such major players in the industry it would make for a weird list. — HTGS (talk) 01:26, 28 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
When I search online for VR companies, I don't find a single list of such companies that doesn't include Apple. - Aoidh (talk) 01:35, 28 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Apple Vision Pro currently has some of the state of the art technologies pertaining to VR/AR. Quoting from Hugo Barra, who was at the time of Vision Pro's release, the head of Oculus at Meta, "The Apple Vision Pro is the Northstar the VR industry needed, whether we admit it or not". I think this is reason enough to include Apple among the list of VR companies. CivicTadpole (talk) 02:04, 20 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Done following consensus. Arguments against inclusion in that category are still welcome to be raised. — HTGS (talk) 04:58, 20 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Gulf of America

[edit]

Apple now shows the Gulf of America instead of the Gulf of Mexico, plenty of primary sources validate it 2601:18A:8183:ED30:6019:571A:9627:BD46 (talk) 16:36, 12 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This needs to be added 2600:1700:5510:4420:64A8:182D:EDBD:C110 (talk) 00:38, 16 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I fail to see how this is relevant to Apple, Inc., the company. It's already covered at Apple Maps. GSK (talkedits) 00:51, 16 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Concern Regarding Consumer Bias

[edit]

Reading through this page, I found that image 23/23, which is of a pair of Apple headphones, claims the product to have an "Unrivaled listening experience." furthermore, the caption as a whole seems more like an advertisement than something truly objective. Smores007 (talk) 14:18, 15 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not seeing that phrase anywhere on the page or in its source; could you please indicate the location of the image in some fashion, such as "in section XXX", that doesn't require scrolling through the page and counting images? Guy Harris (talk) 17:58, 15 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Fixed The issue was with the file description on Commons. RickyCourtney (talk) 13:55, 16 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Apple is an American multi-national corporation and technology company headquartered in Cupertino, California, in Silicon Valley. It is best known for its consumer electronics, software, and services. Founded in 1976 as Apple Computer Company by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne, the company was incorporated by Jobs and Wozniak as Apple Computer, the following year. It was renamed Apple in 2007, as the company expanded its focus from computers to consumer electronics. 2600:8803:5E4D:3E00:C500:41F4:4F41:4BE3 (talk) 02:20, 16 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. GSK (talkedits) 03:03, 16 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It is written as "multinational corporation", not "multi-national corporation", in its article. Maxeto0910 (talk) 05:18, 1 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
