Actually, now that I changed the article's title, I start to hesitate, because articles like "Information Age" or "Bronze Age" don't use sentence case. I'm unsure whether it's sufficiently distinct from the topic AI boom, but I probably won't insist because as you noted, the term was used in the title of multiple books.
Since the term itself is quite vague and I suspect that there isn't consensus on the date it began (or even whether it has already begun), I would suggest though to avoid mentioning "beginning in the early 2010s" directly in the first sentence. It's interesting to have a date later in the article, but if it comes from a notable author, we should try to attribute the date to that author. Alenoach (talk) 02:40, 12 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
This article appears to heavily overlap with AI boom. If they are in fact distinct topics, that could be explained more clearly within the articles. We had a similar article about this topic in the past, but it has been deleted. Nonetheless, perhaps the article can be expanded with some content of it.
