Adding the first bit of information

[edit]

The current information for the wiki page, A Dictionary of American Sign Language on Linguistic Principles, is form the first wave of work done for a school project. This is by no means finished and there will be another wave done to add and edit information on the page. The Reason for publishing was due to it being part of an assignment for a larger project. Again to restate the current state is not the final version. JTFav (talk) 09:42, 1 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki Assignment Completed but Article Still Needs Work

[edit]

While the final bit of information has been completed for the requirement of a school project, this article still needs more work. First, if there is a picture of the book in the info box. Secondly, adding in sections like a section about the structure of the dictionary, because it is structured differently than other dictionaries, a section about the research process, a section about the influence ti had on other sign language dictionaries, and a section of other contributors, because there where lots of other people working on before it became a dictionary, that helped with the project is needed.

If anyone has more resources to contribute to the existing section or help create this other section, I implore you to help make this page its best self. As this dictionary is one of the main things that pushed sign language to be recognized as a language. JTFav (talk) 20:26, 15 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
