- diffhist Unified Silla 04:57 +198 Theo.dore.mon talk contribs (The fact that Little Goguryeo is in light green is very misleading- so I think a disclaimer below this map is necessary regardless of bulkiness. No sources claim it as a silla vassal; if anything the fact it was eventually absorbed into Balhae means it was within Balhae's sphere (if not fully independent); not to mention it was nominally a Tang vassal. In fact this map File:History of Korea-Inter-country Age-830 CE.gif of the Silla v. Balhae situation would probably be much more appropriate.)
- diffhist Tang dynasty 04:04 +192 Theo.dore.mon talk contribs (Edited into a similar style as wiki's Roman Empire page (static map complemented with an evolving GIF), having sourced a territorial evolution GIF from the Japanese version of this page.// The legend was removed as the information it tried to give is superseded by the GIF, and also because it was misleading to claim it as both a static map from a particular year (661) as well as stating 'briefly controlled areas'- since it was not a brief part of a year, a brief part of a century perhaps (10yrs)) Tag: Reverted

Also you're applying personal analysis to judge the rumor; better to let the sources speak for themselves) Tags: Undo Mobile edit Mobile web edit Advanced mobile edit

- diffhist McCune–Reischauer 08:12 −77 172.56.233.189 talk (moving sources to a more appropriate place. also, Fouser does not mention the 1986 Asian Games, but Kim mentions it ("MOE-1984 only for Asian and the Olympic Games"))
- diffhist McCune–Reischauer 07:55 −2,302 172.56.233.189 talk (Unless someone can find an official record from the military in the 1950s, I would argue that this is just a rumor (presumably made up by a person who did not like the MR system). Even in the US, there are the State of Washington and Washington, D.C.; there are multiple places named Bloomington.) Tags: Reverted references removed
- diffhist McCune–Reischauer 07:50 +1 172.56.233.189 talk (better wording. for some parts, it's not impossible to argue that the 1984 SK system was worse than the original MR)
