Salahuddin Ammar (Bengali: সালাহউদ্দিন আম্মার) is a Bangladeshi student activist and He was coordinator of the Students Against Discrimination at the University of Rajshahi . He was one of the prominent coordinator to lead the July Revolution in Rajshahi .

Salahuddin Ammar was born 03 February , 2002. He is a student in Islamic studies at Rajshahi University. He hails from koyra, Khulna.

Activism

Salahuddin Ammar is a coordinator of the Students Against Discrimination,[9] which initially focused on challenging discriminatory quotas in educational institutions.[10] Over time, the movement evolved into a wider campaign[11] that demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her government.[12]Salahuddin was one of the prominent coordinator of the protests at Rajshahi University .[13] Salahuddin became particularly notable when on July 26, when some fake students announced their withdrawal from the movement, Salahuddin himself announced that the movement would continue.Following this incident, Salahuddin reported receiving a death threat. Also, on July 29, 2024, the curfew was broken in Rajshahi and the slogan "Shame, Shame, Dictator" was chanted to awaken the movement that had been stalled.
