  • When creating biographies, don't forget to use Template:DEFAULTSORT.
Accessible from "Wiki markup" at the foot of the page being edited,
it allows categories to be listed under the subject's family name rather than their first or given name.

Notice

The article Rachel Jones (military officer) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not notable for her military career. Mainly there is a burst of news coverage from when her story was published on the army.mil website in 2023 and caused a brief "controversy" due to her trans identity.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Lot of deletions

I nominated several of your articles for deletion before and there was some other situation that I forget. I see a lot of deletions on this page, many of them successful. I think if people are targeting Will for extra scrutiny that is unfortunate and should probably not happen, but if it is not due to scrutiny, then I wonder what is up. Is it just a very high number of articles created? —DIYeditor (talk) 04:20, 17 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I guess looking at your user page it does seem to be largely due to high number of article creations. Just make sure you pay attention to the deletion reasons and article notability rules, please. —DIYeditor (talk) 04:44, 17 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Colonel Michael McKinney House moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Colonel Michael McKinney House, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Drafts that go unedited for six months are eligible for deletion, in accordance with our draftspace policy, and this one has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission, and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you read this, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions here. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the draft so you can continue to work on it.

Upper class culture

Thank you for your efforts on creating categories related to class culture. My previous efforts to create categories for Category:Upper class culture in Maryland and Category:Working-class culture in Baltimore were inexplicably zapped, although the same categories were kept for other states and cities. Maybe you could take a stab at recreating/repopulating them? Thank you! Bohemian Baltimore (talk) 02:33, 15 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
