Biography
Mitra Davar is an Iranian writer and literary researcher known primarily for her short stories and essays that explore themes of memory, identity, and womanhood.[1] Her creative and academic work often intersect, reflecting a deep engagement with contemporary Iranian society and culture.
Her short story "Mashq-e Shab" (Homework) was published in the academic journal *Iranian Studies* in 1997, reflecting her engagement with themes of memory and identity.[2]
The Second Cabinet – short story collection (2025), translated into English by Amir Marashi.[3]
