AdoroCinema is a Brazilian entertainment website focused on movies, TV series, and cinema-related content.[2][3] Launched in 2000, it serves as a comprehensive platform for film enthusiasts in Brazil, offering movie reviews, news, trailers, showtimes, and celebrity profiles.[4][5]

AdoroCinema was established in 2000 in Brazil.[6][7] In August 2011, French mediatech Webedia became the owner of AdoroCinema, which owns AlloCiné.[8][9] It was acquired in 2013 by FIMALAC after Webedia was acquired by the Capital Fund for 140 million euros.[10][11]

Over the years, AdoroCinema has grown to become one of Brazil's leading sources for cinema information, covering both domestic and international films.[12]

The website offers a variety of features, including:

  • Movie Database: detailed information on films, including synopses, cast, crew, and release dates.[13]
  • Soap operas: detailed information on films, including synopses, cast, crew, and release dates.[14][15]
  • Reviews and Ratings: user and critic reviews, along with audience ratings for movies and TV shows.[16]

  • Showtimes: local cinema schedules for major cities in Brazil.[18]
  • Trailers and Videos: access to movie trailers, behind-the-scenes footage, and promotional content. Ownership and Operations.[19]
