Chowk Sethar

Chowk Sethar is a village located in the newly established Kot Addu District of Punjab, Pakistan. The village is known for its agricultural base and close-knit rural community. It is situated near sanawan, town in the region.

History and Origin

Chowk Sethar was established in 1990 by Allah Bukash Sethar, after whom the village is named. The village is predominantly inhabited by members of the Sethar caste, who are known for their strong cultural heritage and traditional lifestyle.

Geography

The village lies within the Muzaffargarh region, now part of the Kot Addu District. It is surrounded by fertile agricultural land and has a population of approximately 550 people.[1]

Religion and Culture

The religious center of the village is Jamia Masjid Ayesha, where daily prayers and religious events are led by Imam Hafiz Allah Ditta Sethar.
