  • 21:4121:41, 6 May 2024 diff hist −393 GEDCOM Limitations: Source 10 explicitly states that "The FAM record may also be used for cultural parallels to this, including nuclear families, marriage, cohabitation, fostering, adoption, and so on, regardless of the gender of the partners," so I have removed the paragraph stating otherwise. I also chose not to keep the part about support for polygamous/amorous relationships, as it is debatable whether the lack of support is from the format itself or the software that uses it. (I suspect that the page cited is/was not freely accessible and so the site redirects you to a 404 when using the link.) I have (hastily) found another source to take its place. Tag: Visual edit

  • 22:1522:15, 8 December 2021 diff hist −86 Rail transportation in the United States NTAD (National Transportation Atlas Database) does show a rail node on the border on the Alaska-Canada border, shown here: https://data-usdot.opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/north-american-rail-nodes/explore?location=59.602569%2C-135.184301%2C10.90 The rail line goes from Skagway, Alaska to Whitehorse, Yukon. In light of this, I have removed a comment about there not being any rail links to Alaska. Tags: Reverted Visual edit

(Example “14.1 ft” is used rather than “14,1 ft”) I also checked the conversion to make sure that 1,300 is the correct value. Tags: Visual edit Mobile edit Mobile web edit
