- 22:1522:15, 19 October 2018 diff hist −54 Oliver's Army I forgot to included this change in my previous edit. One of the comments in the "Talk" page CORRECTLY states that the phrase "white nigger" in this context does NOT refer to the Irish who were killed during The Troubles, but to the soldiers of "Oliver's Army", but apparently the article was never changed to reflect this. The phrase "itchy trigger" conveys that without proper discipline, a soldier could give away his position. This could happen in any location, not just Northern Ireland. Tag: Visual edit
- 22:0522:05, 19 October 2018 diff hist +396 Oliver's Army The reference to Oliver Cromwell's "New Model Army" is not hypothetical. Rather, it is made clear in the references to professional soldiers. In any case, neither of the two critics originally cited "suggested this". Rather, it was understood as a fact, which makes reference to their specific reviews superficial. The original "Murder Mile" was indeed in Cyprus, but the one Elvis is referring to in the lyrics was in Belfast, as indicated in the Wikipedia source cited. Tag: Visual edit

- 03:3403:34, 10 September 2018 diff hist +295 Scientific theory Numerous minor changes to wording to the first two paragraphs to improve accuracy and readability. Not all theories are testable by experiment. Some by observations alone. Added mention of abductive reasoning. I felt some mention of statistical (Bayesian??) reliability is needed, but did't add it. I would delete the last sentence of Para. 2. It does not enhance the meaning, and I'm not sure it's even valid. This description of "theory" is verging dangerously on description of hypothesis.
