There is a publication titled "Die Mode der eleganten Frau", whose front cover starting in 1940 prominently featured just the words "Die Frau", and thus may have been colloquially been referred to as just that, but a Wikipedia link to a nonexistent page should have the proper title. I do not know if this publication was in the February 2023 list.
