- 09:5309:53, 28 June 2025 diff hist +3,553 Ottoman–Ethiopian War (1557–1589) I looked further into the battle that occurred on April 20, 1562. Portuguese, Turkish and English sources I found nigh universally report it as a defeat for the Ethiopian Emperor, except one source: E.A Wallis Budge's 'Ethiopia and the Ethiopians' which claims the opposite. I assume the editor who I reverted from earlier based his edit on this, but considering it's a lone dissenting source compared to the 6 others I was able to identify (from both sides of the battle) I see it fit to remove it current Tag: Visual edit

- 19:1919:19, 27 June 2025 diff hist +400 m Ottoman–Ethiopian War (1557–1589) Reverted vandalism of an anonymous editor from 01:39, 14 September 2022. The source clearly states the battle was an Ottoman victory, but it was changed to state the opposite with no sources provided. Added the exact translated quote to prevent further vandalism. These Muslims were not some uniform blob who all engaged in atrocities, many of the persecuted were men, women and children who had personally never committed atrocities against Christians; a generalization such as '*they themselves* were doing these before' implicates tens of thousands of innocent people in crimes they didnt commit Tag: Undo
