Sebastes gilli, also known as the bronzespotted rockfish[1], is a species of scorpionfish belonging to the subfamily Sebastinae.
Distribution
[edit]It is native to the eastern Pacific Ocean near California (Monterey Bay), United States and Baja California, Mexico. It is demersal meaning that it lives near the bottom of a water body. They can be found at depths of 75–375 metres (250–1,230 ft).[2]
