Pure Fusion Collective was a professional wrestling stable in WWE, composed of Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, and Sonya Deville. The group debuted on WWE programming in July 2024, after a storyline alliance developed between Baszler and Stark beginning in late 2023. They were portrayed as a villainous faction within WWE’s women’s division.

Baszler and Stark first teamed together in September 2023 and later challenged for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on multiple occasions, though never held the titles. Deville returned from injury in mid-2024 and joined the duo after a series of scripted interactions, officially forming the Pure Fusion Collective. The group made several televised appearances as a unit before disbanding in 2025 following the departures of Deville and Baszler from WWE.

History

[edit]

The Pure Fusion Collective began forming on the September 4, 2023 episode of Raw, when Shayna Baszler defeated Zoey Stark and acknowledged her resilience in a post-match segment.[1] Their on-screen alliance developed over the following weeks,[2] leading to their first tag team match on September 18, which ended in a no contest due to interference.[3] In March 2024, they were scripted to challenge The Kabuki Warriors for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship but were unsuccessful.

Sonya Deville returned from injury in May 2024 and, as part of a storyline, attempted to align with Baszler and Stark, though the pair initially declined.[4] In June, Baszler and Stark later failed to capture the tag titles in matches against Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill on Raw and again at Clash at the Castle in a triple threat tag match. On the July 8 episode of Raw, Baszler, Stark, and Deville formally established the Pure Fusion Collective.[5] The trio earned their first victory together later that month.[6] In August, Baszler and Stark again unsuccessfully challenged for the tag titles in a triple threat on Raw.[7]

On February 7, 2025, WWE announced that Deville’s contract would not be renewed, removing her from ongoing storylines.[8] Baszler was released on May 2, 2025, formally dissolving the Pure Fusion Collective.
