Pipturus is a flowering plant genus in the nettle family, Urticaceae. It includes 29 species which range from the Western Indian Ocean islands to Malesia, Taiwan, the Ryukyu Islands, Papuasia, northern and Eastern Australia, and the Pacific Islands.[1]
