Hi,
I hate to be a nitpicker, but I do a lot of "maintenance", and when I was editing an article to remove duplicate template parameters, I discovered that this template contains quite a few references with ALLCAPS in their titles. I was able to fix the duplicates in the article that I was cleaning up because they were in other templates, but not the ALLCAPS because they're imported from this template. MOS:ALLCAPS says that in almost all instances, ALLCAPS should be reduced to sentence case or title case (in reference titles, they should be title case). I would be glad to take care of this if I had template editor privileges (and am hereby requesting), which I have occasionally needed to fix other references, but in any event, the ALLCAPS should be reduced. Thanks. Ira Leviton (talk) 21:32, 12 September 2025 (UTC)

- Can you provide a complete list of schools whose references contain ALLCAPS? I'm happy to edit the template to fix them, but I'm not going to search through it myself. Get me a list of schools (search keys, basically) so I can fix their ALLCAPS entries. --MikeVitale 02:21, 28 November 2025 (UTC)
Not done—This is not the venue for requesting TE privileges (that's Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Template editor); and no specific change was proposed (ideally that would be done in the sandbox). Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 17:12, 8 December 2025 (UTC)

I would like to update the University of Massachusetts Amherst color definition in Module:College color list/data.
Exact change
[edit]Change the UMass Minutemen entry from:
["UMass Minutemen"] = {
{"Maroon", "#881C1C"},
{"White", "#FFFFFF"},
{"Black", "#212721"},
},
to:
["UMass Minutemen"] = {
{"Maroon", "#881C1C"},
{"Black", "#212721"},
{"White", "#FFFFFF"},
},
Reason
[edit]UMass Amherst updated its official brand guidelines. Black is now an official primary color and should appear second in the palette.
The university states:
- "The official colors of UMass Amherst are maroon and black. These colors play a vital role in establishing a clear and powerful image and in defining the UMass brand."*
The guidelines also clarify the role of white:
- "Maroon plays a major role in establishing our identity... paired with the complementary white and black."*
This indicates that **White is now a complementary color**, not a primary one, and should follow Black.
Official brand guidelines: https://www.umass.edu/university-relations/brand/brand-elements#color

Not done This request doesn't make sense, and doesn't match the format of the actual module you are asking be edited. The current line in the module for the UMass Minutemen is ["UMass Minutemen"] = {"881C1C", "FFFFFF", "27251F", name1="maroon", name2="white", cite="{{cite web |url=https://www.umass.edu/brand/sites/default/files/UMass_Athletics_Style_Guide.pdf |title=University of Massachusetts Amherst Athletics Official Style Guide |access-date=July 4, 2021}}"}, which isn't in the format of either of your examples. But the color in the "2" field is white or unset of most teams. So I'm not convinced you know what you are doing and properly tested your changes, as opposed to just asking an AI to make this request. * Pppery * it has begun... 23:58, 12 December 2025 (UTC)

Please add the New College of Florida Mighty Banyans.
["New College of Florida Mighty Banyans"] = {"003087", "FFFFFF", "af9b68", cite=""New Student-designed Mascot Unveiled at New College of Florida". June 4, 2023. Retrieved January 13, 2026."},
The school's most recent style guide (here) predates the institution of a real athletics program and adoption of the Mighty Banyans name and logo. There doesn't appear to be a current style guide. But that bronze color ( #af9b68) comes from the logo and is worn on the school's sports uniforms and appears as an accent color throughout the school's website. Dennis C. - Note that, by convention, white is normally the second color, with the third color being non-white. Thus, I have swapped the blue and white in your initial request. --MikeVitale 00:55, 25 January 2026 (UTC)
