M32p is a hypothetical former galaxy that was collided into the Andromeda galaxy. It was collided into Andromeda 2 billion years ago. It was the third or fourth largest galaxy in the Local Group. The satellite galaxy Messier 32 is most likeley the remains of M32p's galactic core.
