Christian Casey Combs (born April 1, 1998), known professionally as King Combs, is an American rapper and model. The son of rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs and model Kim Porter, King began his recording career with the release of his 2017 single "Type Different". His debut extended play, Cyncerely, C3 (2019), was released by his father's label Bad Boy Records. In the wake of his father's ongoing criminal trials, Combs released a collaborative extended play with Kanye West, Never Stop (2025), wherein both rappers expressed support for Sean.

Early and personal life

[edit]

Christian Casey Combs[1] was born on April 1, 1998, and is the first biological child of Sean Combs and Kim Porter.[2] He has six siblings.[3] Combs has described himself as having a close relationship with his father,[4] having shown support during his sexual assault trial,[5] and having issued a joint statement of support along with five of his siblings in October 2024.[6] In November of that year, Combs announced he would be taking control of his father's Instagram account in order to highlight his accomplishments.[7]

Career

[edit]

Combs told People in 2022 that he always wanted to be a rapper like his father, Sean Combs.[3] Combs releases music under the stage name King Combs.[8][2] Combs said in 2019 that his mother, Kim Porter, encouraged him to pursue music.[1] Combs signed onto his father's record label Bad Boy Records in 2016.[9] In 2018, Combs released his debut mixtape, 90's Baby, on SoundCloud.[10] Combs released his EP Cyncerely, C3 on March 29, 2019. With nine tracks, the EP featured various artists, including City Girls, Ty Dolla Sign, and Jeremih.[1]

In 2022, Combs achieved his first number 1 single on Mediabase's Urban Radio chart with his song "Can't Stop Won't Stop", featuring Kodak Black.[11] At the BET Awards 2023, Combs was nominated for "Best Collaboration" for the song.[12] On July 14, 2023, Combs released his second EP, C3.[13] In March 2025, Combs was featured on American rapper Kanye West's song "Lonely Roads".[14] On June 27, 2025, Combs released a surprise collaborative extended play called Never Stop with West.[15] The album includes a song called "Diddy Free", referencing Combs's father.[16]

In addition to rapping, Combs is also a fashion model. Combs is signed to IMG Models, first signing in 2018 for worldwide representation. Combs represented fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana,[17] becoming the face of the brand's 2018 Spring campaign.[9] In 2020, Combs collaborated with Rihanna for a Savage X Fenty men's wear collection.[13][18]

[edit]

In April 2024, Combs was accused of sexual assault in a lawsuit that also named his father.[19] The lawsuit alleged that in December 2022, whilst on vacation, Combs pressured a woman working as a steward on his father's yacht to drink tequila and later assaulted her by attempting to force her to give him oral sex.[20] The woman also alleged she was touched on her legs, breasts, anus and vagina by Combs.[20] An attorney for Combs, Aaron Dyer, claimed the lawsuit contained "manufactured lies and irrelevant facts".[19]
