Justis Gibbs serves as a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives for the 72nd District, affiliating with the Democratic Party, a position he has held since 2024.[1][2][3]

In December 2024, Gibbs was selected for the Future Caucus Innovation Fellowship as part of the 2025-2026 Civic Innovation cohort for Gen Z and millennial lawmakers committed to improving civic engagement and democratic processes.[4]
