Diese Seite beschreibt die Ausklappfunktionen des Menüfeldes Absatz mit der Bearbeitungsumgebung VisualEditor.

[Bearbeiten | Quelltext bearbeiten]Der Menüpunkt Absatz 
des Hauptmenüs bietet einen Zugang zu unterschiedlichen Formatierungen. So lassen sich Bereiche des Textes beispielsweise durch Absätze oder Überschriften strukturieren.
Die Textgestaltung umfasst zwei Bereiche:
- Layout von ganzen Textblöcken, die nachstehend erläutert werden, und
- Fließtext-Eigenschaften der Schrift, die beim Menüfeld „Schrifteigenschaften“ verfügbar sind.
Absatz erzeugen
Voreingestellt ist dieser Bereich auf das Format als „Absatz“. Das bedeutet, dass der Text am linken Rand beginnt und optisch einen Umbruch zum vorherigen Text aufweist.
Möchte man im bestehenden Fließtext einen Absatz erzeugen, so positioniert man den Cursor | am Beginn des Satzes, der in einem neuen Absatz stehen soll und betätigt die Eingabetaste.[1]

Überschriften bearbeiten oder erstellen
Es gibt einen eigenen Menüpunkt Absatz für die Erzeugung von Absätzen oder die Formatierung von Überschriften. Abschnittsüberschriften werden über den Menüpunkt „Überschrift“ formatiert, Unterabschnittstitel je nach Ebene im Inhaltsverzeichnis mit „Unterüberschrift 1“ bis „Unterüberschrift 4“ …
Es können sowohl neue Überschriften erzeugt als auch bestehende Überschriften verändert oder einer anderen Überschriftenebene zugeordnet werden.

Soll ein bestehender Eintrag verändert, eine Überschrift hinzugefügt oder einer anderen Hierarchieebene zugeordnet werden, so muss der Cursor an der zu bearbeitenden Textstelle positioniert werden.
- Um eine neue Überschrift zu erzeugen, sollte sich der Cursor außerhalb eines Abschnittstextes befinden. Gegebenenfalls einmal die Eingabetaste ↵ betätigen. Anschließend im Menü die gewünschte Ebene anklicken und den Text an der Cursorposition einfügen.
- Bestehende Überschriften können direkt im Text überschrieben werden. Positioniere den Cursor an der Stelle in der Überschrift, wo du den Text verändern möchtest, und überschreibe ihn mit dem neuen Text.
- Um einer Überschrift eine andere hierarchische Ebene zuzuweisen, positioniere den Cursor innerhalb des Textes der Überschrift und klicke anschließend im Menü auf die gewünschte Ebene.
Info: Durch Klicken auf die einzelnen Menüpunkte wird der gesamte Textbereich des Abschnittes umformatiert, in dem sich der Cursor befindet – falls dies nicht beabsichtigt war bitte über 
rückgängig machen.
Vorformatierter Text
Es gibt einen Unterpunkt zur Formatierung. Diese Art der Darstellung kann auch über die Tastaturkombination Strg+7 aufgerufen werden.[3]

Es gibt einen Unterpunkt zur Formatierung von Textstellen als Blockzitat.
Bitte verwende für Zitate die dafür vorgesehenen Vorlage {{Zitat}} bzw. fremdsprachlich.[5]

Chapter: The Pain Behind a Faithful Heart
Promise was a hardworking young man who believed that love was more than words and promises. To him, loving someone meant making sacrifices, remaining faithful, and doing whatever he could to create a better future for the person he loved.
At just twenty-three, he was already carrying responsibilities that many young men his age might struggle to understand. He came from a humble background, and life had never promised him an easy road. Nevertheless, he continued to work hard, hoping that one day his efforts would lead to a better life for himself, his family, and Precious.
When their relationship began on December 29, 2024, Promise believed he had found someone worth fighting for. Precious had shown him care and support in the early days, and those moments made his feelings for her grow stronger. He trusted her, cherished their time together, and imagined a future in which they could overcome life's difficulties as a team.
But gradually, things began to change.
The pressure surrounding their relationship became increasingly difficult for Promise to bear. The disapproval he experienced because of his financial circumstances made him feel as though his efforts and good intentions were not enough. He was trying to build something meaningful with the limited resources he had, yet he felt that his background was becoming a reason for others to look down on him.
What hurt him most was the feeling that the person he loved was being influenced by the very pressures that were threatening their relationship.
He watched Precious become increasingly caught between their relationship and her mother's expectations. According to Promise's experience, comments comparing him unfavourably with other men added to his frustration and made him question whether his efforts were truly appreciated.
He was not a wealthy man, but he was willing to work hard. He did not have everything he wanted to offer Precious, but he believed he could offer her sincerity, commitment, and a heart that was determined to remain faithful.
Unfortunately, love does not always protect people from emotional pain.
As the relationship became more complicated, Promise began to feel overwhelmed. The confusion affected him deeply because he could not easily separate his love for her from the difficulties surrounding their relationship.

Had he given too much of himself to the relationship? Had his desire to make Precious happy caused him to overlook his own emotional needs? And how could someone who had once meant so much to him appear to be moving forward while he was still carrying the weight of their shared past?
For Promise, the hardest part was not simply remembering what he had spent. It was remembering what he had hoped those sacrifices would mean.
He had invested in a future he thought they were building together. He had believed that loyalty, patience, and genuine affection would be enough to help them overcome their difficulties.
Instead, he found himself facing the painful possibility that two people could share beautiful moments and still arrive at a point where their relationship could no longer give them the happiness they once expected.
Yet Promise's experience raises an important question about love: When you give so much of yourself to someone, how do you find the strength to move forward when the relationship begins to fall apart?
Perhaps the greatest lesson is that love should not require someone to lose themselves in the process of trying to keep another person happy. A healthy relationship needs effort from both sides, honest communication, mutual respect, and a willingness to face difficulties together.
Promise's story is a reminder that the value of a person is not determined by how much money they spend on love or how much suffering they endure to keep a relationship alive.
Sometimes, the most difficult decision is learning to protect your own peace while accepting that you cannot control another person's choices.
