WHERE IS the "Move" tab?

[change source]

Some things seem missing here (relative to English Wikipedia's "Move" option).

Referring to the Help:Moving a page page here (quoted text in bold):

  • I see no "Move" tab at the top. (Is this deliberate but undocumented, or is it documented but broken??)
  • I see no link to any move proposal template to put on the talk page. (If the "Move" tab never exists, I might use a move proposal template. If none ever gets linked here, I might hunt for one.) However, I did find {{Movenotice}}, for use on the article page.

@A876 I think the move tab only appears once you are autoconfirmed here. Depextual (talk) 01:05, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That could be is the answer left undocumented here! Wikipedia:Autoconfirmed users = users more than 4 days old and made at least 10 changes. I registered here 13 years ago, but I only had 10 to 11 edits on that day. "User changes for A876" currently shows 14 edits, but it says I have only 8, with no sign of caring to explain the discrepancy. (I can guess that it might exclude additional edits of the same page, or consecutive edits of the same page (because of noobs who hit Save every ten keystrokes).)
("simple" seems simplified to oblivion; maybe that's why I don't visit here often. Here, "Disruptive editing" simplifies to "Disruptive changing", but "A disruptive user is" still "a user who... Is tendentious...".) -A876 (talk) 21:55, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@A876 Your contributions shows 14 edits, but says you have made 9. This is usually because some edits have been imported from English Wikipedia, so they appear under your username; but you didn't actually make the edits here, so they aren't included in your edit count. If you make one more edit, you will be autoconfirmed, and the move tab will appear. If you have other questions, you can ask on Wikipedia:Simple talk, where more people will see them. By the time I posted this response, you had made 10 edits. Depextual (talk) 22:01, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You're "too" responsive. I noticed that too, and, sure enough, my "Move" button appeared. So I did the Move I wanted, and then I came back here to revise my comment (now with strikeout, above). Next to re-edit the Help page. -A876 (talk) 22:34, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
