Sathiyasangaree "Gary" Anandasangaree (Tamil: சத்தியசங்கரி ஆனந்தசங்கரி) is a Canadian politician and a lawyer who has been the minister of Crown–Indigenous relations and northern affairs since December 2024 and minister of justice and attorney general of Canada since March 2025. He was elected to the House of Commons in the 2015 federal election. He is the member of Parliament (MP) for Scarborough—Rouge Park.
Career
[change | change source]On July 26, 2023, Anandasangaree became the Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations.[2]
In the 2025 Liberal Party of Canada leadership election, he supported Mark Carney.[3]
