GameDistribution is a platform that provides web game developers and digital publishers with tools for cross-platform distribution and in-game monetization.

Operations

[edit]

GameDistribution.com was founded in Oslo, Norway, in 2008 as an automated platform to help developers distribute online games and track performance with real-time analytics.[1] In 2016, the company was acquired by Azerion.[2][3]

The platform offers a catalog of cross-platform casual games, supporting monetization through pre-roll, mid-roll, rewarded ads, banner ads, and in-app purchases (IAP).[4][better source needed] For publishers, GameDistribution offers white-label services and embedded gaming sections that can be integrated into existing websites. These sections feature a range of browser-based games with monetization features already built in.[5]
