More scenerererios:
- Lamp is an oil lamp and out of oil or supernatural beings.
- Lamp is battery powered and they're dead, missing, or inserted the wrong way.
- Lamp is solar powered and the sun is dead, missing, or inserted the wrong way.
- No electricity because it's the fucking Bronze Age. The time machine was malfunctioning or something.
- You stopped taking your pills because you actually enjoy the hallucinations.
- Throw a surprise party for no one in particular after removing the wallpaper from the walls. 75.4.146.213 (talk) 03:33, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Also, the user should have the option to buy a candle. —Centrx→talk • 04:20, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
- There should also be arrows relating back to the initial problem; ie: when the bulb has been replaced, returns 'Does the lamp work?' —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.22.77.171 (talk) 14:51, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
Quality
[edit]If this is an SVG image, why are there jaggies and a lack of clarity at any resolution, such as the default one here? - KitchM (talk) 23:26, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
Brilliant! Should be a featured image
[edit]Ever since my venture in alpaca breeding failed to pan out, I have been, so to say, living in the dark. You see, electricity bills being so high I can only afford one source of light in my entire apartment. Ever since my lamp stopped working I have been more in the dark than ever. I was at a loss of what to do. I haven't been doing my laundry, because I can't see it. Dishes are piling up because there is no light to wash them by. The dull, barely luminescent glow of my LCD screen only illuminates a few square metres of my surrounding area. I have forgotten what my cat looks like because I can only see her eyes.
Then, while editing Wikipedia, I found WikiProject Computer Science and this image. I followed the steps and, after putting on a very colour uncoordinated outfit I got out of the house and bought a new lamp. Now I can see again!
Thanks Wikipedia. Great eBayer. Would read again AA++ DubiousIrony yell 08:47, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
Is this right?
[edit]I've used this to diagnose problems with my lamps and I just keep going to the store to buy new ones. They work in the store but don't work when I get them home. I plug it in and the bulb isn't burned out so I go to the store to buy a new one. I'm starting to wonder if the switch on the wall is to blame. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.211.41.195 (talk) 14:21, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
