Originally intended to be called "Yuki and her Stuffed Friends," the show featured Poppy, Matt, Dinky, Rina, and Kat as Yuki's stuffed animals. Due to a lack of fabric and thread, Obanor decided to focus on creating one character, Kat, as a stuffed doll, leading to the title change to "Yuki and Friends."
Inspiration
[edit]The show draws inspiration from various beloved children's programs. The initial concept of Yuki and Kat entering a cartoon world using a key and a box was changed to Yuki using a wand for practical reasons.
Magic Words- The magical phrase "Yuki puki buki boo" used for teleportation adds a whimsical element to the show.
