- The Times of India gave the film 2.5 out of 5 stars. Reviewer Bhaskar Chattopadhyay stated, "Ankush tries his best to break away from his boy-next-door image... The film has a sleek look, but the editing could have been tighter."[3]
- **NEW SOURCE:** The Bengali daily Ei Samay praised the action sequences and the dual role performance by Ankush, noting that the film's suspenseful elements managed to hold the audience's attention despite the weak romantic sub-plot.[4]
- Anandabazar Patrika ran an article focusing on Ankush Hazra's makeover and the film being a major release for the actor, highlighting the interest the dual role generated in the media.[5]
