Unit 29: Writing from Parchman Prison is a collections of prison art and memoir from incarcerated writers housed in the notorious Unit 29 in Mississippi State Penitentiary, better known as Parchman Farm. The book was released in November of 2024 and has been well reviewed and noted in both North America and Europe. The book, which is told from multiple points of view within Unit 29 from November 2021 until June 2024, deals with the after effect of the infamous riots, murders, suicides, and general mayhem that characterized Unit 29 M.S.P. during the greater part of the Covis pandemic era.
