Union-Tuttle Stadium
Union-Tuttle Stadium is a High school football stadium on the campus of Union High School (Tulsa, Oklahoma) is the home of RedHawk football and can hold 11,000 people. Union-Tuttle Stadium was originally built in 1977. However, it went under mass renovation starting in winter 2019. The new renovation cost $22.5 million paid through a bond issue. It includes a new home side, National Football League grade Artificial turf, a heated camera deck on top of the press box, a weight room and both men’s and women’s wrestling practice rooms underneath the home side, a new band building, a new video board, and New lighting.
New Traditions
Two new traditions came with the new stadium. The first is light it red. This refers to the new LED lights being able to change colors and be turned to light the stadium red after a win. The second tradition is the Cornerstone. The Cornerstone is a corner of the old home side token from the student section and is placed on a pedestal of old teepee poles from when Union was the Redskins. The Cornerstone travels to all games with the team and the players run it for good luck like Howard's Rock for Clemson Tigers football.
