TradeLocker

[edit]

TradeLocker is a trading platform developed by TradeLocker LTD.[1] It is used globally by both beginner and advanced traders, proprietary trading firms (prop firms), and brokers who operate in markets such as foreign exchange (forex), metals, stocks, indices, and contracts for difference (CFDs).

The platform runs on all modern web browsers and has a desktop app for Windows and macOS, as well as a mobile app for Android and iOS.[2]

The platform integrates TradingView charting technology and features a minimalist trading interface designed for speed and ease of use. Users have access to hundreds of customizable charts and technical indicators, and advanced risk management tool with stop loss and take profit features.[3]

History

[edit]

The development of TradeLocker started in late 2022, and the platform was launched in late March 2023. It was developed to provide a streamlined trading interface and incorporate user feedback into product updates.[4]

Since its launch, TradeLocker has received attention from both beginner and experienced traders, proprietary trading firms, and brokers. The platform continues to evolve with ongoing improvements based on user feedback.[5]

Functionality

[edit]

TradeLocker offers a variety of order types, including market, pending, limit, and stop orders, which help traders execute trades with accuracy and control over their positions.[6] Pending orders automatically convert into stop or limit orders depending on the market conditions, ensuring that trades are executed as intended.[7]

The platform integrates key risk management features, such as a stop loss & take profit calculator, risk calculator, trailing stop loss,[8] and on-chart trading.[9] These tools allow traders to manage their risk and refine their trading strategies effectively.

TradeLocker is not a broker. It connects with third-party brokers who execute user trades.[10] A broker deals with all the financial aspects, making sure the money is handled safely and trades are made. TradeLocker, on the other hand, equips traders with tools to plan and set up those trades inside of its trading platform.[11]

Since the launch, the platform has attracted a substantial trading community with support channels available on platforms like YouTube, Discord, Instagram, X and Reddit.
