Technology Solutions Provider, Inc. (TSPi) is an American information technology services firm providing digital modernization and cloud-based solutions to U.S. federal agencies. Founded in 2001 by Vishal Suri and headquartered in Reston, Virginia, TSPi was acquired by Abt Global in May 2024.[1][2]
History
[edit]TSPi was founded in 2001 and began providing IT services to federal agencies, with early clients including the Department of the Treasury, Housing and Urban Development, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.[1]
In 2017, TSPi was selected as one of 80 small businesses awarded positions on the General Services Administration's Alliant 2 Small Business government-wide acquisition contract.[3]
In 2019, TSPi was awarded a contract by the U.S. Department of Energy's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory to integrate software security testing tools.[4] That same year, TSPi established a workforce development partnership with Blue Ridge Community and Technical College in Martinsburg, West Virginia, providing training and employment opportunities to students in information technology programs. The program allows students to work for TSPi while completing their studies, with the initial cohort of seven students subsequently hired as junior developers.[5]
In 2023, TSPi was awarded a position on the USDA's Farm Production and Conservation IT Support Services contract for work on USDA digital services.[6]
On May 16, 2024, Abt Global acquired TSPi to expand its digital capabilities in the federal market. At the time of acquisition, TSPi had approximately 400 employees and had received approximately $67.3 million in prime federal contract obligations in the prior year, with the U.S. Department of Agriculture as its largest customer.[1][2] TSPi continues to operate as a division of Abt Global.[1]
Services
[edit]TSPi provides cloud integration, agile software development, and IT modernization services for federal agencies, with a focus on low-code development platforms and data science.[1][2]
