Taran are a Welsh Language rock band from Cardiff, Wales. Founded in June 2023, the band hail from Ysgol Glantaf in the Llandaff North area of Cardiff. They have performed accross Wales including at the Eisteddfod^[1] and Tafwyl^[2].

Their debut single, Pan Ddaw'r Nos, has amassed almost 4 thousand YouTube views and over 9 thousand listens on Spotify.

Lead Singer, Rose Datta, won^[3] Y llais 2025, S4C's inaugural Welsh language version of The Voice (franchise).
