Toboids Automata Pvt. Ltd. is an Indian multinational robotics & AI company based in kollam kerala. Founded in August 2018,^[1], it specializes in robotics products such as industrial manipulators, agricultural drones, Multi terrain Multi Utility Robot(Air Land on Water and Under water), mini drones Nano Bee, autonomous mobile robots, quadruped spider robot, social robots Myke, humanoids robot Malva, IOTdevices like smart stamp 3D printers and other toy robots. Received a national award from the Defence Research and Development Organisation(DRDO) under the *Dare to Dream 4.0* innovation contest, in recognition of its contributions to innovation in the Indian defence sector.^[2] ^[3]

History

Toboids Automata Pvt. Ltd. was founded in 2018 by Adarsh R.S., a scientist engineer from Kerala. Alumni of Indian Institute of Technology ^[4] Adarsh holds multiple postgraduate degrees, including an M.Tech in Robotics and Automation, an M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence, and an MBA in Operations.^[5] His multidisciplinary background and focus on applied research have shaped the company’s early product development. .^[6]. Toboids Automata began its operations focusing on robotics development including Multi-Terrain Multi-Utility robots, alongside 3D printing technologies and a range of engineering services. ^[7]

Awards and Recognition

Toboids Automata won a national award from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) in the Dare to Dream 4.0 innovation contest for its contributions to defence technology.^[8]
