SyncBase is a software application and services company that connects Shopify with Airtable, providing two-way, real time data synchronisation for products, orders, inventory, customers, collections, metafields and metaobjects.[1][2] In addition to the app, the company offers SyncBase Studio, a consulting and implementation service that builds custom operational tools on top of Airtable for Shopify merchants.[3]
Overview
[edit]The app is installed from the Shopify App Store and links a merchant’s Shopify store to an Airtable base. After authorising Airtable, users choose which data types to sync and whether to generate a new base or connect to an existing one.[4][5] The service supports authoring from Airtable (for example, creating and updating Shopify products and variants), with changes reflected in both directions.[6]
Features
[edit]- Two-way, real time synchronisation of Shopify data with Airtable for products, variants, orders, customers, inventory (including multi-location), collections, metafields and metaobjects.[1][2][7]
- Authoring from Airtable: create and edit Shopify objects directly within Airtable; changes are pushed to Shopify.[6]
- Multi-store support allowing consolidation into one base or linking separate bases to a master base.[8]
- Metaobjects support for two-way sync and creation from Airtable.[9]
History
[edit]SyncBase documents a mission to improve operational data quality for e-commerce teams and to position Airtable as an operational layer for Shopify merchants.[10] Community announcements describing real-time synchronisation and metaobjects support appear by mid-2025,[9] and reviews on the Shopify App Store referencing SyncBase are present from late 2024 onward.[11]
Reception
[edit]According to its public listing, the app achieved the “Built for Shopify” award from the Shopify Team, offers a free trial and pricing from US$24/month, and holds a 5 stars rating by its users.[1][11]
